The 12681429 universal 4 Bolt main block 350 is a brand new long block used to cover most GM applications from ‘1971-1985. Casting number 10066036

It is our lowest priced 350 and is great as a small block replacement or V-8 retrofit into any vehicle.
This brand new crate engine comes with a GM nation wide warranty and is covered for 2 years or 50,000 miles when used in applicable GM vehicles.

The specs of the motor are as follows:
·(4) Bolt main block with a (2) piece rear main seal.
·Cast Iron Crank.
·Forged steel connecting rods.
·Cast Pistons, (dished).
·Hydraulic flat tappet cam, (.383” intake / .401” exhaust) and a 112-degree lobe separation.
·Cast Iron Cylinder heads with a 76cc combustion chamber. (Non vortec design)
·8.5:1 compression ratio.
·Left or Right hand dipstick. (not included)
·(4) Quart oil pan.
·Timing tabs for a 6 ¾” or an 8” balancer.
This engine block has provisions for either a left or right hand dipstick. (not included)
The user must plug the unused side with a plug.(Included in bag)

4 bolt main caps, two piece rear main seal. Replacement timing pointer tabs p/n 3991435 or 3991436. Includes valve covers, front timing cover, oil pan, new oil pump. Camshaft is 12364051 (327cid/300hp profile). Flat tappet lifters. Machined fuel pump boss.

Oil Pan / Filter / Adapter / Dipstick:
The 12681429 engine block has provisions for both right-hand and left-hand dipsticks. (not included)
The 12681429 engine includes a 4-quart oil pan Part number 10066039 which has the “double bump out” for both dipstick designs.
The oil dipstick for the 10067353 engine for the right-hand (passenger) side of the block is 10190942 (indicator) and 12552920 (tube). If not using right-hand dipstick, use plug 9421743 3/8"
The oil dipstick for the 12681429 engine for the left-hand (driver) side of the block is 03951576 (indicator), and 03876870 (upper tube). P/N 03951600 (lower tube) is installed at the factory.
If not using left-hand dipstick, use plug 14091563 7/16" to prevent an oil leak.
The 12681429 engine assembly does not include an oil filter adapter or oil filter element.
The 12681429 uses an AC # PF 454 or PF1218 oil filter
