19303797 Performance Clutch Upgrade Kit
2012 - 2014 Sonics and 2012 Cruzes built before May 22, 2012
Developed by Chevrolet Performance engineers, this performance clutch upgrade kit has been designed to be used with the 2012–2014 Sonic 1.4 Liter engines only, and some 2012 Cruze vehicles.

Installation Procedure:
1. Remove the transmission per GM procedures.
2. Remove the clutch & pressure plate per GM procedures
3. Remove the flywheel per GM procedures
4. Install the new flywheel & torque to the following: Flywheel Fastener (Qty: 6)
NOTE: Ensure to use a NEW fastener whenever the flywheel is removed. Tighten
• First pass tighten bolts to 35 Nm (26 lb ft)
• Second pass 30 degrees.
• Final pass 15 degrees.
5. Install new clutch & pressure plate per GM procedures & torque to the following:
Install (Qty: 6) NEW clutch pressure plate bolts and tighten crosswise to 28 Nm (21 lb ft).
6. Reinstall the transmission per GM procedures.

The Sonic Performance Clutch has an 11% torque capacity increase over the production 2012-2014 Sonic Clutch. Rated torque capacity with a designed in factor of safety is 168 lb-ft of torque.
